A Gift

Something that is not expectable and unwanted may become a gift, and this gift sometimes changes our life. I remembered that was almost five years ago as I was my birthday. Five years ago, I was disagreeable to read books, and when I read the beginning of the sentence, I was going to fall asleep. Because reading books were boring for me, I refused to do that. However, this situation would change when I knew him who was cram school’s head. I was in cram school to study Chinese, because I was bad at writing a composition, I had to read more books to get some knowledge. After a half semester later at cram school, I left it. Before that, he gave me a book and that day was just my birthday. He thought that he knew my birthday because I saw that was covered by the wrapper as a gift. My mood was excited but disappointed soon, because it was a book. I understood this was his good intention; I should touch it by myself. When I read it on first page at home, I was interested in this book. Because I liked adventureful things, I was attractive to it. I started reading again and again, I really appreciated him because I learned a lot of stuff from there and I was joyful. After this event, I improved my writing skill a lot, and I started reading books about adventure very often. All my life, this is my best gift I have never had.
