video project reflection

After finishing this project, my group members and I actually work diligently together. We also show our lots of great effort because we have to act something that will let us feel embarrasing. Although we were embarrassed when the video was showed during the class, we were still brave to face in the class.  When we filmed the video during the rest of time, we had a lot of fun with it. When you make some funny joke or do some stupid behavior in the film, we laughed and derided. That's why I like doing this video project.

In this article, we know that Asian people like to blame or torture other people because they want to show that they are the best or things like they do everything correct and perfect. I think they are too arrogent and too much self-confidence. After finishing this article, Asian people want to say the truth, but use the mean way, which is to blame Amy. However, she finds that when they blame her, Asian people actually don't tell the truth. Because Asian people want whole the world to understand that they are not really strict and severe. I think Asian people have some problems in daily life, they just want to torture someone to say the truth then spread out. That's why I don't like Asian people. I love Eastern people because they are not really strict and give the children much freedom. If I am in Eastern then live there, I will feel comfortable and free.

The definition of success

Success is someone who is done well on something and someone has acheived something. that you want and have been tried or got. If I study hard on the test and it is better than last test, that means you acheive your goal and something you want to get it. Last year, I didn't do well on the medterm and final so my mom sometimes punish me for a while. However, I improve a lot this year because I know that If I don't do well on the test, I will be blamed by my mom. That's why I study very hard this year, I don't want my mom disappointed me. I think this is one of the definition of success, and this is a better example for students. Every parents want to let their children get a high grade, that means they want let their children be successful as they repected for. I hope I can improve a lot next year and I will try my best if I study hard.

I like this article. When I didn't get A on the midtems or finals, my mom would blame me and punish me.
Sometimes I felt full of pressure because my mom managed me very often when I didn't get a grade that my mom didn't expected for. I sometimes thought she was annoying and troublesome. If I didn't get a high grade, my mom sometimes would limit me about watching movie and playing outside. After that, I had to stay and study again and again at home. Actually, I didn't like this life and that will made me feel nervous because I had to do every well on the test, that's impossible. my favorite life style was free and comfortable as Western childrens. I think this life style was great and couldn't be limited a lot by parents. Therefore, I think Chinese parents shouldn't be too strict, they should be free to their children. I think giving their children too much pressure is not always good for them, they should feel free to do anything. After all, every child has own ability to complete things.

What features, such as photographs, charts, or facts, did you like or dislike in a book you read?

I like movie posters in books I read because this is my favorite activity, and I like any books that include movie posters, such as a movie magizines. this book not only includes introduction, character, and article of film, but also includes a lot of movie posters, every page almost has a movie poster at least, and they are kind of photographs. Every month will include new and special posters that makes me surprised and interested, that makes me happy, too.

I dislike black and white pictures in books I read because sometimes they make me confused a lot. I like pictures that includes a lot of colors on them, that makes me more comfortable and feel well. Black and white pictures only have two colors on it, they are not colorful and too monotonous for me, and they are more worse than pictures that have colors, too. That's why I really hate black and white pictures in books I read, they are boring for me.

Quick Write - Perfect School

Describe to me your perfect school:

My perfect school would have less homework and lots of activities in school. However, it is impossible because students in school are to learn some knowledge and finish the homework that teachers require. If I want to choose which school is perfect for me, I will choose Experimental School.

Actually, there is a lot of homework and projects to do in ES, but why I choose this school? Because there is a lot of activities and  that we can spend this time taking the rest and having fun, I think this school is better than others. Although we have a lot of homework, tests, and projects, I still can learn a lot from these and learn my participation from the project because the most important thing for me is to participate or discuss more about project with classmates. That's why I had a lot of fun and didn't full lots of pressure from there.

I hope everyone in this school thinks as me that this is a perfect school that can learn a lot of stuff and enjoy cheerfully there.

New Year's Resolutions

NewYear's Resolutions are promises we make to ourselves about what we will do to improve ourselves or our situation during the coming year. What are 5 of your New Year's Resolutions? Why did you pick them?

1. I hope I can do a better job in school, and my grade can be better than last year. I need to improve my schoolworks and English skills.

2. I wish the movie will be better this year because there isn't lots of good movie last year especially at Christmas break.

3. I hope I can improve my badminton skill a lot because I'm in badminton team and I don't want to lose the badminton match again.

4. I wish I can be more responsible than last year. I need to hand out homework early and participate more in the class.

5. I wish I can get a high grade about SAT Math Test, this is very important for me and this is concerned about your career.

From the Odyssey, Part Two - Response

The meeting of Father and son: Odysseus finally returned home after twenty years, I think his son was confused because he wore rags as a beggar that his son couldn't recognize him. Then he didn't look like original appearance. Finally Odysseus persuade him, he cried and hugged his father with surprise.

Death at the Palace: Odysseus start revenging the suitors because they have stolen something from his house, then he start using his adept method to kill them. After that, he let the head of suitors, Autuous drink the wine until he got a hangover. When he fell asleep, Odysseus could kill him at the good moment. Furthermore, the other suitors would be slaughtered by falcons in the great hill, too. Although he was very cruel, he used his plan successfully as a hero.

Odysseus and Penelope: His wife, Penelope tried to recognize him with wearing rags, same as his son. I think his adornment of all body was unobvious and hard to know that he was Odysseus. his mother tried to use some methods to let her son recognize that he was really his father. Finally, when his son made sure that his real status, they embrassed together.

From the Odyssey, Part One - Response

Odyssey was an adventurous and strong person. he could use various and lots of way to solve any problems such as sticking in cave. Finally, they still escaped from that cave successfully. Another interesting thing is that made Cyclops blind. he used the pike of olive to put on Cyclops' eye, and this pike was charred and reddened already. However, he used fake name that called " Nohbdy" to treat Cyclops when he was making him blind. This word was just like" nobody", if there is nobody has hurt him, there is nothing they can do to help; and so they leave. Every plan was hold in his brain, and he showed that how the hero was. That's why he was really proud of himself, too.

American History - Response

The first plot of narrative is that the author made friend who was his neighbor, Eugene, and they both got hated in school, too. However, the most terrible thing was that President Kennedy was shot, everybody was upset and feel not good. Everyone stayed inside and didn't go any where because of his death besides the author. At that night, the author wen to Engene's house to study. However, Engene's mother blames the author to go home and don't come to her house anymore. I think the author was rude and careless about the President's death, only he was daring to go outside. After Engene's mother's admonishment, the author was reflected and understood that he shouldn't be outside. Finally he changed his good attitude to face this event.

Rising Tides - Response

This essay is very obvious that we need to stand up to protect our planet and stop global warning continuing. many strange things are coming, mostly glacier are shrinking, sea level is rising, and the seasons are changing, but why the government leaders are not responding to these problems? I think this is a very serious issue for us. The government should be brave and courageous to speak up that we should stop happening this again and we should try to save our planet. If they don't speak up, we won't notice that what happen to us. This is very important for announcement. we can start sloving with basic, such as no production of trash, and the use of carbon dioxide without a large number, etc. If we can achieve this goal, I wish we can reduce some global warming's problems.
